Jim holds certifications as a fine Homes International Specialist, Signature Properties Specialist and International Marketing Specialist as well as his Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS).

Jim is a graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and holds the State of Florida Real Estate Brokers License.

Jim's professional background is in Business Administration. He began as a licensed securities consultant managing diversified stock and bond portfolios for high net worth individuals and groups.

During the next twenty-five years he founded and operated a number of successful corporations. He has extensive knowledge in all areas of business including finance, sales, marketing and negotiation.

His experience includes mergers and acquisitions of businesses and the buying, selling and development of both residential and commercial properties.

The Hetmaneks know the area well having lived on Sanibel for nearly 15 years and raised children there.
