Edythe was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. After she married her husband, Bill, she moved to the United States. When they settled in Canfield, Ohio, Edythe decided to take up the career of real estate. After working as a successful agent for several years, she became a broker and opened her own office. EMM Realty grew into one of the premier real estate agencies in the area focusing on residential, farms and land development. Due to their skill in finding clients what they wanted, businesses and former clients conintinually referred friends and employees to Edyth and her agents.

Edythe and Bill bought a villa in Pelican Bay when the development was just beginning. Together they watched the area grow into the cosmopolitan area that Naples is today. Planning on a future in the area, Edythe became a Florida Realtor.
